Citizen Journalism in Ukraine? Yes, VG News Portal feel an obligation to participate also in this years worldwide conferences- the 64th World Newspaper Congress and the 19th World Editor forum.

“Solidarity with the local press” is one of the reasons for going til Kiev, tells the WAN-IFRA President, Jacob Mathew. And VG News Portal agrees. We will present the possibilities behind our product and idea to be used in all kind of countries in the world.

To bring world-wide attention and pressure to the press freedom problems in Ukraine is of course important. And its also important for VGNP to meet the large decision makers of the news media industry in a time with large changes.
